Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist/Inpatient Psychiatrist

Dynamic and growing hospital in New Jersey (35 minutes to Philadelphia/30 minutes to all points along Jersey Shore/90 minutes to NYC/75 minutes to D.C.). Position will entail a blended model Consult Liaison and Emergency Psychiatry.

• Behavior Health department is highly respected and designated as a Center of Excellence along with other hospital centers of excellence (Neuro, Trauma, Maternal/fetal medicine). 
• This is a great clinical opportunity as well as a great mix of work/life balance.
• This is a patient centered behavioral health department with a warm and collegial atmosphere.
• 9:00 – 5:00 M-F
• Daily # of Consults: 3-4
• Daily # of Follow-ups: 3-4 
• Inpatient Unit: 28 bed unit, 16 involuntary and 12 voluntary
• Crisis Screening Center: Open 24hrs. Average daily census is about 7 to 8 patients a day
• Provide consultative services to Regional Medical Center med/surg floors
